Happiness – it’s the one thing we all seek but often find elusive. You can live a happier life if you decide you want to and take action to back up that decision. Here are 5 simple points to live happily. These strategies are worth trying!   1. Maging kontento Every day brings a chance to live a happier life. Learning to be content with what you have will secure your happiness. You will start to feel better even before you know it. “Always count your blessings, not the missing. Do not see how far you have to go, see how far you have came”   2. Huwag mainggit Envy is the art of counting the other fellow’s blessings instead of your own. Being green with envy never feels good. Humans are compelled to compare everything, from the food we eat to the house we own. However, letting these comparisons control your mentality can be harmful. If you spend your days wishing you were living someone else’s life, you won’t be able to live your own life to the fullest.   3. Maging matatag at positibo Circumstances are never positive or negative by themselves, but we label them so by thinking and feeling about them from a stance of dislike. We all face negative situations in our life. Someone may say something bad about you, or something you’ve worked hard on is rejected. In situations like this it is difficult to keep a positive attitude. Don’t let the actions of others or circumstances turn you to the dark side of the workforce.   4. Wag mong asaming makuha mo lahat, mas mabuti na yung kung anong meron ka basta ito naman ay sapat. Remember that sometimes not getting what you want is a wonderful stroke of luck. The key to happiness is to appreciate what you have. People often think happiness is based on what you achieve and acquire. Happiness is not a happening; it’s a state of mind. You can have everything in the world and still be miserable. Or you can have relatively little and feel unbounded joy. Happiness comes from mastering the art of appreciating and consciously enjoying what you already have.   5. Ang tunay na kasiyahan ay nanggagaling pa rin sa puso at malinis na kalooban.  Happiness comes from within. Being kind to others makes us happy. It brings joy to our heart. Always be kind. You’ve heard it all your life: Being humble, kind, and calm is the “right thing to do.” But if that isn’t enough to convince you, consider this: humility, kindness, and calmness can actually help you get ahead in life. Our greatest happiness does not depend on the condition of life in which chance has placed us, but is always the result of a good conscience, good health, occupation, and freedom in all just pursuits.
